When making ethical decisions, whose needs are most important? The individual's, other people's or society's?"

Can someone type a paragraph or 2 abt that^

Respuesta :

Making proper ethical decisions require one to be selfless and educated in the topic as these decisions most often affect other individuals’ quality of life. While someone may choose a decision that is beneficial to themselves, this would not help the majority of individuals which the decision would have the strongest impact on. Moreover, while ethical choices can have effect on society as a whole, it will most effect the individuals directly involve in the topic at hand. For example, the question of whether or not individuals should be required to register as organ donations is complex and should be reflected on the individuals who need the transplant rather than the individuals who would be passing on the organs used or through society’s overall beliefs. This is because the sick individuals are the ones who are ultimately effected by the choice which justifies the prioritization of their needs. Overall, as the majority of choices directly effect the individuals involved in the situation, their needs should be considered the most important in considering the answer for an ethical question.
