If a red blood cell is in a beaker of water. What are the areas of high and low water concentrations and does the water diffuse in or out of the cell

Respuesta :

Red blood cells place in a solution with high water concentration compared to their content (eg pure water) will gain water by osmosis, swell up and burst. Water will diffuse from a water concentration outside the cell to a lower water concentration inside the cell. Hopes it helps you.
