Answer:

There are two different one that you could use, both will be cited to original creators.

1) Freedom should not be sacrificed in the name of national security.

During World War II, Japanese-Americans had a tough time. Their freedom was restricted as they were put in internment camps despite the fact that they did nothing wrong.

Due to this, their lives are ruined, some lost their businesses and houses. When they got out of internment, some were put into financial ruin. Also, according to the Constitution, people have liberties to life, privacy, etc and no one should take away such rights.

In conclusion, sacrificing freedom for national security is not ideal.

2) I believe that no, freedom should not be sacrificed in the name of National Security. While citizens want to go to great lengths to protect their country, there are boundaries set that should, and need to remain standing. If freedom is taken away from the citizens, what is worth fighting for? Freedom is a key right belonging to citizens, and that should be unable to be taken away at given moments. Yes, sometimes we need to recognize what is right, but at what cost?

  • Due to some catastrophic events, security in America measures has  increased in safety procedures, etc.

The government can set up laws or enforce strict regulations to help monitor who goes and enters the country. but they should not need to infringe on or restrict the freedom of the American people.
