If a feather and a bowling ball were dropped in a vacuum(only gravity effects the variables), they will hit the ground at the same time. So if the mass keeps changing it, and the pod keeps stopping at different points it will take longer to accelerate or decelerate. I’m not totally sure, but here is an answer.
