To get the answers you just have to move the decimal to the right how ever many times the power of 10 is (if the number is negative you move the decimal to the left) eg. 2 x 10^1: you move the decimal to the right once and it becomes 20. eg. 2 x 10^-1 you move the decimal to the left once and it becomes 0.2.
