Football and Basketball exist very popular sports and are played in different parts of the world. There exist some similarities between the sport with the most prominent one being they are a sport and played with some type of ball. The balls utilized in each sport are filled with air and made of leather. Another shared similarity exists they are timed sports and use referees.
Each sport has its professional team discovered in different cities in the United States and draws many fans to the plays each year. The two sports both need tools such as a whistle, score clock, players, and coaches. Both sports utilize the word “field goal” however; the word has a distinguishable meaning. A field goal exists as a kick in Football and Basketball this exists used when creating a basket in the hoop. For a field goal in football, you have to kick it via goal posts that are yellow and very high and a distance between them. No net exists attached to the goal post but some football fields have a net behind the goal post to have the ball stop from proceeding into the stands.
