At a candy store, fudge (f) costs $5 per lb and all other candy (c) costs $3.50 per pound. If you purchase 8 pounds of for $37, how many pounds of fudge (f) and candy (c) did you purchase?

5x6 = 30

37-30= 7

3.5x2= 7

So you can buy six pounds of fudge and 2 other candies.
