Perimeter of a triangle is equal to the sum of measures of its three sides, that is :

  • [tex]x + x + 3 + 2x - 1 = 66[/tex]

  • [tex]4x + 2 = 66[/tex]

  • [tex]4x = 64[/tex]

  • [tex]x = 16[/tex]

so, the three sides are :

  • 1st [tex]\rightarrow[/tex] x = 16 inches

  • 2nd [tex]\rightarrow[/tex]x + 3 = 19 inches

  • 3rd [tex]\rightarrow[/tex]2x - 1 = 31
