1. A bully is someone who hurts, frightens or intimidates another kid over and over again. A bully takes every opportunity to make another kid feel bad, and enjoys the feeling of power that they get from doing so.

2. Jonathan watched as Kevin walked up to Peter - right up to him - so close that his nose was practically touching Peter's. "Didn't I tell you not to come here?" Kevin snarled. Peter took a step back, so Kevin took a step forward. Peter quivered with fear. "I have to come here," he stuttered. "It's school." Jonathan's blood was boiling. Somebody had to do something! What he wanted to do was to take a swing at Kevin and knock all of that nasty confidence right out of him. What he did instead, though, was to turn and run down the hall to get Mr. O'Malley What am I going to do about this bully?

3. You may not know what to do if you witness bullying. It may make you feel depressed or worried. You may not feel safe. These feelings may make you want to join in the bullying, or be silent, so as not to get bullied yourself. Or maybe the bullying makes you so angry that you stand up to the bully yourself. The best, and the safest thing to do is always to bring the bullying to the attention of an adult, who will put a stop to it

4. Martin is quiet and serious, but his brother Liam is loud and rough, and a lot of kids think he is a bully. While Martin is always kind to people, Liam mostly just tries to see what he can get out of them. lunch money, a better place in line, or homework to copy .
