Dashain is a religious festival observed by the Hindu faithful. During Dashain, an incident occurred which I will describe in a paragraph below:

  • On the day of Dashain, the priest who was meant to conduct the prayers for my family had an accident on his way. The auspicious time for the rituals to commence was by 3 p.m. We all feared that the priest will not make it in time to begin the ritual. The atmosphere was tense but Father immediately sought another priest to handle the rituals. Thankfully, the first priest was hospitalized, treated for minor injuries, and discharged on the same day.

Dashain is a Hindu festival celebrated in Nepal, India, and other Asian countries.

This year's festival was celebrated on the 15th day of October 2021.  The festival is a celebration of the victory of good over evil.

The god Durga defeated the demon Mahishasura. In some other climes, it is believed that Ram defeated Ravan. The festival lasts for fifteen days.

Conclusively, the above is an incident that occurred in Dashain.
