I could easily see this question being an opinionated basis to some people! In my eyes, it’s the second choice.
People can be influenced by the good/evil around them. Seeing various events happen before them may change their ideas of the world. If a person sees so much cruelty and hate in the world, they will become a very pessimistic person. They will see these acts as “good” in their eyes and act on these devious acts and soon become evil. But, if a person was raised/has seen a substantial amount of good in the world, they will be seen as kind hearted! Their acts definitely define them as a character!
