1. If the British had won the American Revolution, Americans might still be under strict religious rules, and have a monarchy,  which had proved complicated in other countries. I think that the British would have been more successful if they had won, because life would continue per usual. If they had won, Great Britain would have more land ownership. This might have boosted their economy and trade later on, so therefore, Britain would have prospered more from a win in the American Revolution.

2. Colonists first came to America to establish new land for Great Britain, as well as to escape strict religious laws they faced in Europe. With all of the freedoms that the U.S Constitution gives us, I think that modern-day America is living up to the colonists' expectations. While this country does face many controversial situations almost daily, I think that the freedom within this country is what the colonists envisioned. Take the First Amendment for example: It allows people to freely speak their mind, as well as practice any religion or no religion at all.
