Fist we have to turn the mixed numeral 8 1/4 into an improper fraction. We do this by multiplying 4 by 8 which is 32.
Then we add the numerator, 1 which gives us 33. So now we have 33/4.
Then we find the reciprocal of 1/2.
To do this we simply flip the fraction

Since 66/4 is an improper fraction we have to change it into a mixed number.
