The curriculum of South Africa is greatly changed since 1994.
It is because new curriculum was introduced in 1994 which is totally changed from the previous one. The main purpose of changing the curriculum is that the old curriculum was not applicable and new curriculum is needed for the modern society. Due to change of the education system, the number of enrollments in higher education have doubled in 1994. In that year, 495,000 students were enrolled in higher education which shows that the new system is better than the older one.
