Which word best describes the tone of these stanzas from Teasdale's "After Love?"

There is no magic any more,
We meet as other people do,

I'd say that these lines are quite honest - the speaker doesn't hide the fact that their love is gone. The narrator speaks about how their love was wild and affectionate once, but that it doesn't exist anymore - neither the narrator nor the man she used to love feel it anymore. The love and excitement that existed before are gone, and the speaker is quite frank about it - she doesn't try to hide it at all.
