Ok let me explain it to you like this:
Let the price for one egg be x and the price for one toast be y Then: 3 = 2x+1y,
1.8 = 1x+1y.When we substract, we get x = 1.2 and y = 0.6, so the price for an egg is $1.20 and the price for a toast is $0.60.
