Are the elements toward the right side of the periodic table more likely to gain or lose electrons during bonding? Is there an exception?

Respuesta :

elements on the right side of the periodic table are more electronegative..so they gain electrons during bond formation

Due to more electro-negative character of the right side elements, they gain electrons in order to make stable bonding. And in whole periodic table, there is no exception can be seen for that!

Hope this helps!
