Hey, I know this isn't really a school question... but I'm really upset and I don't know what to do. So, you see, I am bisexual, and my family is a hardcore Catholic family. I've already told my parents, and they don't mind, but my other family members are... not so supportive. My grandfather voices his opinions way too much, and he often talks badly about the LGBTQ+ community. If somehow the fact that I am bi gets out to the rest of my family, I'm so worried they won't want anything to do with me anymore! My mental health is terrible right now. Sorry for bothering everyone, just, thank you for at least listening.

Answer: Tough Situation

Explanation: I’ve been in this situation before. My great grandparents are not to supportive of it. I often heard them talk bad about LGBTQ people and it made me feel bad. So one day I told them, and they were surprisingly supportive of it and ever since then they don’t talk bad about LGBTQ people anymore. But based on what you said I personally wouldn’t tell them and try to keep it as down low as possible. I know this sucks but depending on how old you are this will probably be the safest thing for you. I hope this helps :)
