Why does most citizen journalism appear in online outlets such as social media, blogs/websites, YouTubе, or podcasts, instead of in more traditional media like newspapers and TV programs?
They are more people Online than readin' the paper. And most papers only cover certain towns states etc If you were a journalist trying to be notice you would go with something that would get you more viewers worldwide.
