Who are Dimmesdale and Chillingworth?

Arthur Dimmesdale and Roger Chillingworth are the two evildoers that included adultery, murder, and vengeance. Both characters differed as Dimmesdale felt guilty and remorse for his acts but, Chillingworth was not felt guilty even for once.

Dimmesdale was a good person at heart as can be seen when he felt regretful and hurt after Hester was punished. While Chillingworth's sin was directly done to inflict pain and suffering.

In the stories, the characters can be flat, round, static, and dynamic. The falt characters are predictable, the round is interesting, static is constant, and dynamic is changing personality traits.
