Killing hundreds of protestors.
The Tsar had the St. Petersburg guard regiment protecting the palace however after some intense protesting the guard regiment fired upon them and killed hundreds of protestors, this event could be compared to that of when Josef Stalin died and Beria had his NKVD officers protect the city of Moscow, and when hundreds of Serfs and peasants tried to enter, 1,500 were shot dead by NKVD officers.
