1: The symbol in the title refers to the seasons of the year and how the environment is changing around the author.
2: The season that the poem refers to is autumn and it also speaks about the coming of winter. The different seasons hold different meanings, like for example how "Fall has fallen yet winter is not yet here. How warm the late November sun although how wan" mentions warm the late November sun is during the transition between Fall and Winter.
Extra: (You have to answer this because I don't know what you did for Practice 1 lol)
3: In the story we see how the Fall/Winter season correlates to old age and it's shown when the author writes "How warm the late November sun although how wan - Housing one old woman, a cat, and one old man..." We can also take away from the text and say how, in the middle of the poem, it says, "Green and tall as it ever grew in spring - the grass." This quote could be an analogy to childhood and youthful kids growing up to be tall and vibrant.
4. (I don't know you age but if you're young you can say warmer seasons because it symbolizes youth and vice versa if you're older)
5: From the text we can see the location, which mentions a house on hilltop, is a representation of great achievement and accomplishment. This is shown in the text when it says, "The white house stands as a symbol of fulfillment there."
Have a bless day! <3
