Describe the role of each of these men at the constitutional convention George Washington and James Madison

George Washington, who initially did not want to attend, was persuaded to go to the convention. He was unanimously voted as the president of the constitutional convention. James Madison was one of the two people who persuaded George Washington since he strongly believe that Washington would play a great role in the national system of government. His reputation with great trust and respect was acquired due to his efforts during the war.
