What is a anticyclone that forms over Kalahari desert ?

An anticyclone is opposite to a cyclone and it refers to the weather phenomenon. Defined in terms of the large scale of the winds. It moves clockwise in the north and anticlockwise south.  

The anticyclone forms over the Kalahari high during the winters in the interior parts of southern Africa and forms a part of subtropical ridges. Due to which the Kalahari is a desert region.  

When the eat is heated near the poles the equatorial motion force h ends upwards and as the air rises slowly it cools and subsidies near 30-degree latitude are called as Hadley cell.

Most of the economic activity of this region such as cattle rearing is affected due to the slow growth and small vegetation. The food and health of the Bantu people are impacted by dry and cold conditions.
