Hello! The main complaints, or grievances the colonists had against the King in the Declaration of Independence were:

1) The colonists lacked of representation in Parliament.
2) The British forced the colonists to house British soldiers and feed them.
3) There were large taxes on the colonists, and many tax laws such as the Stamp Act, Tea Act, and Imperial Acts passed that taxed imports.
4) The British forced them to purchase British goods.
