Serfs earn virtually no money but they get some land to live off of. Any form of nobility, knights. etc. and government is treated superior to serfs and lowly peasants, but they aren't quite the ruler and still have to obey laws. Kings are revered but hated by enemies. I hope this helped and please rate my answer. A Brainliest is much appreciated.

Explanation:

SERFS:

Serfs held the lowest social status in the Medieval Feudal Society. A free man became a Serf when he had a large debt which he could not pay back. A Serf had to work under his Lord's land to pay off his debts. He had to complete his Lord's work before his own. The Lord would ensure safety of the Serf on his land. Serf could also own property and keep money.

NOBLES:

Nobles or Lords were the middle men between the Royals and the peasants. The peasants worked on the land of Nobles. Nobles worked for the royal family by providing resources and service to the king.  You were either born a Noble or became one by being awarded the honor through a royalty.

CLERGY:

The clergy consisted of the Pope, the Bishop, priests, monks and nuns. The were the people of the church. The pope, being the head of church, had influence over decisions of the king.  A portion of the people's tax went on to support the church.

MERCHANTS:

The primary role of merchants in medieval times were of trading of goods across countries. They would acquire the products during their travel and would later sell them in markets. Merchants were often opposed by the clergy as banking was considered an evil act.

MONARCHS:

The monarchs in the early medieval ages were the rulers of empire (unlike lords who only had power over their land). Their prime responsibilities included maintaining law and order in their empire and protecting it from external attempts of invasion.

ARTISANS:

Artisans were the skilled craftsmen of the middle ages. They created handmade consumer goods. The objects were either functional (armors, weapons, tools etc) or decorative (sculptures, jewellery, pottery etc). An Artisan who has achieved perfection in his craft may reach the expressive levels of an artist.

KNIGHTS:

Knights can be described as the elite class of soldiers. They belonged to families of high status and were part of the royal army.  A soldier could be knighted by the King by placing the flat of his sword on their shoulder. As a status symbol, becoming knight meant getting a sword, a pay raise and (sometimes) a plot of free land to live.
