Answer:

Ok so basically on the first pic which is the circle one, you will write the difference of ice storms and blizzards that we read from the passage. Then in the both section of the circle, you would answer the similarities in ice storms and blizzard that you read from the passage.

Second pic which is a notebook, you would draw the information that you got while you were reading the freezing rain. Like you would draw how the freezing rain was form or etc...I am just giving you an example, but you would draw the things that you read from the freezing rain.

Cirlce one is basically comparing and contrasting ice storms and blizzard and notebook one is you drawing about what you read about freezing rain. Those two are different.

Answer:

Explanation:

Blizzards are dangerous winter storms that are a combination of blowing snow and wind resulting in very low visibilities. .Sometimes strong winds pick up snow that has already fallen, creating a ground blizzard. An ice storm is a storm which results in the accumulation of at least . 25” of ice on exposed surfaces.

Winter storms are characterized by snowfall, rain, sleet, and ice etc where temperatures are below freezing point. The difference between a blizzard and winter storms lies in the presence and strength of winds. ... Blizzards are massive snow storms with strong winds.

Blizzard Vs. Snowstorm

According to the National Weather Service, a blizzard is a combination of three weather events:

Sustained winds or frequent wind gusts of 35 mph or greater

Visibility of less than a quarter mile due to large amounts of falling or blowing snow

Forecasted continuation of the above conditions for three hours or longer

Interestingly, a blizzard does not technically have to involve active snowfall. If there is a large accumulation of snow on the ground already, sustained winds can blow that snow around and reduce visibility to blizzard-level conditions even when no snow is falling. This is called a “ground blizzard”.

A snowstorm, or winter storm, is generally considered less severe due to the lack of high winds and low visibility, but they can still be dangerous, especially when driving or walking on slick surfaces. Winter storms are characterized by near-freezing or below freezing temperatures and “wintery mix” precipitation, which can include snow, sleet, ice and freezing rain. Whether you’re dealing with a snow storm or a blizzard, always be prepared for the severe weather.

Blizzard is massive snow storms with strong wind ,As for an ice storm only snow falls . So Blizzard is more dangerous then ice storm .

The difference between a blizzard and winter storm in the presence and strength of winds. Blizzards are massive snow storms with strong winds.

A winter storm or snow storm is an event in which the dominant varieties of precipitation temperature are forms that only occur at cold temperatures, such as snow or sleet, or a trains from where ground temperatures are cold ice to form freezing rain.

Questions:-difference between blizzard and snow storm? Answer:-the difference between a blizzard and a snow storm is the strength of the wind, not the amount of snow.

Traditional Blizzards occur with wind blowing falling snow in all directions while blizzard with no snow fall are called as ground blizzards.
