Explanation:

1) 10 - 0.80 = £9.20 all together.

2) (2.40 x 2) + 2.80 = £7.60 for the two packs of bacon and box of eggs.

3) 9.20 - 7.60 = £1.60 is the amount of money spent on baked beans.

4) There is 2 tins of baked beans, so to fi d an individual one we divide by 2:
1.60 / 2 = £0.80
