15 - 20 - Student addresses 4 of the five main points and demonstrates an above average understanding of the second industrial revolution and its effects.

10 - 15 - Student addresses 3 of the five main points and demonstrates an average understanding of the second industrial revolution and its effects.

5 - 10 - Student addresses 2 of the five main points and demonstrates a below average understanding of the second industrial revolution and its effects.

5 - below - Student failed to address many of the main points and does not show a clear understanding of the second industrial revolution and its effects.
