The scale of a map is 0.4 inch : 20 miles. On the map the distance between two cities is 1 inch. What is that actual distance between the two cities

Iā€™m gonna say 50 miles because 0.4*2=0.8 and 0.8=40 miles ,then I added 0.2+0.8=1 ,0.2 is half of 0.4 so I took half of 20 which is 10 ,and I finally added 20+20+10=50
