Story Prompt
It is March 15, in the year 2514. The people of former New York are in desperate circumstances. They are being overrun, and they are losing hope. The banners proclaiming a Free the Real NYC lie in the gutters, trampled by terrified and panicked citizens. Two teens are on their way home from a secret meeting. As they walk in the shadows to avoid detection, they both trip on a huge titanium cylinder. Etched into the surface is a series of scratched-out words. The only words they can make out are, "he will prevail." They drag the heavy cylinder into a hidden alleyway and twist it open. The glow from their flashlights reveals the contents of the cylinder. With gasps of relief, they look at each other with hope in their eyes for the first time in years.

Think about these ideas as you write your story:

How much time has passed since the news article was published?
Who are these teens? What are their names? What are they like?
What was the secret meeting about?
What is their conflict?
What is going on in NYC in 2514?

It was a tuesday afternoon, and me and a bud were walking out. it was the first time wed both been out in months, and it showed. Ragged clothes ad cloth was hard to find, scrawny as food was unavalibe unless you were working for the city, and lots of fear on our faces. Brad turns to me and whispers "I think I see something..." and we both turn to it. It seems to be a small cylander, sparkly yet not blinding. The green sparkles were faded, and it's about the size of a regular shoe box. I turn to Brad, nods, and he opens it. Inside were 2 megaphones, and we get a bit confused. We look around, and we see Monokumas ganging up on us

Our only option : Run

They were Jess and Darren they were worried about what would happen to them if they got caught at night especially since they've been going to secret meetings to save NYC. They were walking home when they came across a surface with words. The words read ''he will prevail'', They wondered who the message was talking about. Beside that message was a huge titanium tube. They dragged it with them into a secluded tunnel and opened it. They opened the cylinder and found contents in it that brought them hope to saving New York. They had hope. In the cylinder was a bunch of things to help them. There was a list of steps and a message from anonymous telling them that he knew what would happen and made that cylinder to help whoever found it to save the city.
