Help me figure this out i have to do it for a quiz

Given :
A triangle with angles 45°, 45° and 90° and side opposite to 90° is 20 .
To Find :
The length of sides x and y.
Solution :
Since, angles on sides x and y are same.
Therefore, x = y .
Also, it is a right angle triangle. ( triangle with one angle 90° )
So, applying Pythagoras theorem in given equation, we get :
[tex]x^2 + y^2 = 20^2\\\\x^2 + x^2 = 20^2\\\\2x^2 = 400\\\\x^2 = 200\\\\x = 10\sqrt{2}[/tex]
Therefore, the value of x and y is 10√2 .
