as you look over to the left map ( the ancient map ) you see that it looks very different from the right map ( the modern map ). the ancient map does not have the different states listed and it doesn’t have any labels as to what area is what. the modern map is more colorful as opposed to the ancient map it is mostly the same two colors all over and it makes it a lot more difficult to see the individual states, compared to on the modern map having each state a different color it makes it much easier for you to be able to detect how big and or small each state it and when each state ends.
