It might be harder to convince people of the value of the forest ecosystem services as opposed to the value of its economic service because truthfully, people have different ideas on what is important and what´s not. So some people may think that the forest has no worth and it doesn´t matter to them if it gets torn down or not, as long as it makes them money, but others may feel that a forest is a special place where animals and such have a place to be free.
