Dear Jess,
Hey Girl! How are you doing in Spring Break? I'm doing good too! Guess what! I had got a ticket to see Rick Astley live at a concert! I was so excited! You'll never guess who it was from. It was from Rick Astley himself!
Saturday came and rolled around and the concert was gonna start in 5 minutes. Then, the lights went dark and the stage hit a spotlight, then the curtains opened. Finally, the star himself Rick Astley arrived and was ready to perform. His song "Never Gonna Give You Up" started playing and the whole crowd went wild. "WE LOVE YOU RICK" the row in front of me chanted.
Then, suddenly, Rick stopped in the middle of the song and asked me to come up on stage and sing a duet with him! I was so ecstatic that I ran to the stage with Pride running up and down on my voice.
Later that evening after the concert, Rick took me backstage and told me that I could be London (Hollywood, whichever you prefer)'s next big pop star. He grinned at me and headed to his dressing room. I was so amazed by the words that Rick spoke that I ran home that evening and started my own song.
It was a dream come true. If only I would have shared it with you, Jess. By the way, How is your trip to Russia? I would love to hear about it!
