I guess one reason is that it has brought awareness to the US. The virus has shown us, and the whole world, just how unprepared the US was for this pandemic. Like, we're supposed to be ready for anything, but we aren't, not ready for the BLM, and not ready for the white people storming the capital. America hasn't seen the BLM anger, and for the reason for doing the riots, they saw that as an attack, therefore, the white people stormed the capital for a petty reason, and we knew this but didn't do anything and now people are dying, both to the pandemic, and to the riots.
