I believe that the region where I live does not have many differences in the pronunciation or standard English dialect, since I live in a busy city, which usually speaks in a very standard way. However, there is a strong change in dialect and accents within my family. This is because I come from a family with Latin ancestry, where many were not born in the USA and learned to speak English in their native lands, thus having a strong accent influenced by their native languages. However, some members of my family were born in the USA and had full access to standard English with no accent.
