My family and I will be going to Venice, Italy, for a vacation this year. Although it is far away, (I AM EXITED TO GET AWAY). Venice is a beautiful city. Because the city is built on small islands in a lagoon, (WE WILL BE USING BOATS TO Be GETTING AROUND THE CITY). I cannot swim (BUT PLAN TO LEARN BEFORE WE LEAVE FOR VENICE.)

The dependent caluse is a part of a sentence tha cannot stand alone without the rest of the pharagraph tha wouldent make sense
