1. He was unhappy which made him loose appetite for food.

2. He proved to be concerned about his company which he put first before self-gratification.

He represents a concerned, caring and selfless leader.

Explanation:

From the excerpt, we discover that Odysseus wasn't in a hurry to eat what Circe presented before him. He wasn't happy and could possibly not be in the mood to eat what was set before. We see his concern for his company which he requested to see first before any other thing. These lines tells us that Odysseus is a concerned and selfless person.
