Like you said, another dance could come about another year, and I'll be as popular like the one last year. An Example is with the Floss, it was popular in the 2018-2019 years, but this year is eh- because not as many people are doing it, and are doing other dances (Mainly from the App. TikTok)

Because new dances come along and and when people start doing that dance they think it’s better than the old dance because it is new
