This is not an entire story. It is a small part of a larger narrative. The scene can take place at the very beginning of the narrative, at the very end, or somewhere in the middle.

Make sure something happens in your scene so that you can establish the right pacing
Exchange between two characters
Brief action sequence
Or a single remarkable discovery
Use at least one of the narrative techniques that you have learned about to enhance your scene

Foreshadowing

Character arc
