Binge eating disorder often results in many of the same health risks associated with clinical obesity. Not only this but people that binge eat often have High blood pressure, High cholesterol levels, Heart disease as a result of elevated triglyceride levels,Type II diabetes mellitus, and Gallbladder disease.
It perpetuates itself by making the person feel extremely guilty. Which lowers resistance towards other episodes of frequent overeating. It also leads to depression.
