No-till method is an agricultural practice in which the stalks are left on the crop fields to anchor the topsoil. It avoids the mechanical or physical agitation of soil. This is basically done to prevent soil erosion so, that roots can hold the soil in place. This technique is advantageous over tillage method. As, it retains the natural physical properties of soil. It increases the water retention capacity of soil. It increases the yield of the crops.
