How could this statement be revised to make it a hypothesis?
a.)Fish meal is safer than artificial fertilizers, but it does not make plants grow.
b.)Fish meal is a better fertilizer than artificial fertilizer because fish meal is natural.
c.)Plants that are fertilized with fish meal will grow taller than plants that receive artificial fertilizer.
d.)Plants that receive artificial fertilizer will be better than plants that receive fish meal.

Respuesta :

Well, the correct response would be C. Because the other 2 options are not really testable as they refer to plants having fish meal, or simply the fact that fish meal is better will be more beneficial to the plant and or will not hire

I believe the answer is : c.)Plants that are fertilized with fish meal will grow taller than plants that receive artificial fertilizer.

When making a hypothesis, you should try to make the variable as clear as possible. The word "better" is not specific, so it would be hard to know what aspect you want to research. It also better to separate the hypothesis and not combining two hypothesis together like option A and option B. You can identify the independent variable clearly in option C .
