Well, the correct response would be C. Because the other 2 options are not really testable as they refer to plants having fish meal, or simply the fact that fish meal is better will be more beneficial to the plant and or will not hire

When making a hypothesis, you should try to make the variable as clear as possible. The word "better" is not specific, so it would be hard to know what aspect you want to research. It also better to separate the hypothesis and not combining two hypothesis together like option A and option B. You can identify the independent variable clearly in option C .
