Emily enjoys experimenting with color changing lizards. She places a green lizard on a brown background and a brown lizard on a green background. Emily knows the green lizard should turn brown and the brown lizard should turn green. Neither lizard changes color.

Well usually a lizard that changes color is a gecko or something similar to one and their skin color changes because of a chemical reaction in their skin when they are scared so there is any number of reasons for the skin not to change such as a defect, it not being scared, or just the wrong environment can change natural behavior.that is my answer and if i am wrong or just not on point please inform me.
