treat the < or > as an equals, so...
6n - 3 = -18
6n = -18+3 ( get all n on the same side)
6n = -15 (add like terms)
n= -15/6 (get n on its own)
n = -2.5
n > -2.5 (don't forget to put the < or > sign back in the place of =)
