Edgar Allan Poe's narrator in "The Tell-Tale Heart" describes in detail the circumstances surrounding his murder of an old man. Analyze the narrator's reliability in 'The Tell-Tale Heart.” Is he insane or is he sane? Use evidence from the passage to support your response.​

Hello! I would say the narrator is insane because he can still hear the old man’s heart thumping from underneath the floorboards even after he killed him. His guilt gets the better of him and he turns himself in to the cops. I don’t have any evidence sense I don’t have the story on me, but use something from the story along the lines where he “hears” the thumping of his heart as evidence.

Answer: the sight of the pale blue eyes drives him to kill/murder the old man

Explanation: from the words I remember from the story, I remember it said that the old mans eye vexed him, his Evil Eye. The murderer couldnt handle  being looked at by the pale blue vulture eye of the old man
