The way that the outbreak of disease in China led to the foundation of the Qing Dynasty was that an epidemic weakened the Ming Dynasty and allowed the Qing to take over.
The Qing were from the Manchuria area of China which means that they are not from the major Han group of China. They were however able to take over China thanks to the fall of the Ming dynasty.
One of the reasons the Ming dynasty collapsed was as a result of the Great Plague in the late Ming dynasty which killed more than 200,000 people and so weakened the Ming Dynasty that it ceased to exist.
