Answer: My ankles hurt, but that’s about it. I went online to try to determine why that might be. I came across something called shin splints. These are pains in the inner part of the lower leg, sometimes with swelling or weakness. Shin splints are caused by too much force on the leg. I don’t know if I have shin splints, but I’m going to rest my legs just to be on the safe side. I think a new pair of shoes might be in order. My old shoes have lost a lot of their cushion and the sole is worn down.
