1. Primary sources are those that present a document that was prepared at the time the event to which this document refers was taking place. Secondary sources are documents that were built from research and the interpretation of primary sources. Sources based on oral history, are biographical sources, where a person talks about an event that happened in his life, or that he witnessed.

2. An example of a primary source on the Paleolithic period are the rock figures, which besides being made in that period, depict a lot about the life of humanity at that time. An example of secondary sources, are the photographs that we see of these figures. An example of a source based on oral history would occur when a person who visited an archaeological site with evidence from the Paleolithic period tells stories about what the experience was like.
